Random quote: A couple of young fellers were fishing at their special pond off the beaten track when out of the bushes jumped the Game Warden. Immediately, one of the boys threw his rod down and started running through the woods like a bat out of hell, and hot on his heels came the Game Warden.

I started building bucktails and magnum sized chatter baits this year. On some of them I've added color to the blades/shakers but they get dinged up quick even if I scuff them up. What is the preffered brand or type of paint? Do I coat them with epoxy, and if so is there anything you would recommend off the shelf from a home improvement store? I only build a couple at a time so I dont need an industrial sized can.

Since I've got extra wire and stuff laying around I figure I might as well make up a couple muiras knockoffs too. Anybody else build something similar and if so would you mind showing how you did the rigging? I've got a game plan but it's gonna be a huge pita to get the wire done right I think.
