Posts: 860 Location: NE Ohio | soft tail doesn't go as deep and fishes slower IMO. i like it in the the pre spawn spring time, i work it in with gliders then.

Posts: 57 | Got some 8” and 10” raptors in the mail, for those not familiar the 10” is a considerably larger bait than the 8”. Both very well made lures and will become regulars in the rotation.

Posts: 120 Location: Twin Cities Metro | killdeer - 7/5/2021 8:24 PM Anyone have experience with these two lures? Looking for deeper running jerkbaits. This is my first year running the Xorcist. With weighting to neutrally buoyant, it gets quite deep (8 to 10 feet) and stays there. Without weight it will work at about 3 to 5 feet. Great swing like a glider, and an awesome belly roll on the glide. The tail comes up a bit when you pause the bait for a second or two. Very fishy-looking bait. When I need to work down to the tops of deep milfoil in 20-25ft, the Xorcist is the peanut butter to my Medussa’s jelly: dive and hang vs rise and dive. Bob
