Location: Vilas County, WI | 80# power pro and flouro trolling leaders. I use the power pro simply because it's used on so many lures trolling depth conversion charts.
Reels are Okuma Magda Pro linecounters; however I think the Convector's are nicer (but more money). |

Most rods have 100lb Powerpro
Where I can use more than one rod I always have a rod out with 45lb soft monel this is also used where I'm pounding rocks
I find 30 or 40 pound Big Game mono stands up in the board clips better than Powerpro and sometimes you want the stretch of mono or may want to keep the presentation up in the water .
Never had the desire to go back to Dacron. |
