Posts: 1677 Location: Mt. Zion, IL | Anyone have good luck with these? I have tx-44’s but I’m just less than impressed with how they pull away from the boat. Anything special to keep them from sliding down 80 lb braid?

Posts: 1677 Location: Mt. Zion, IL | Do you have to double wrap them like some do with the tx-44’s?

Posts: 1 | I have both the TX44's and the SST Pro mags. The offshores are far and away better boards for pulling large baits further out to the sides. I crank the OR 18 clips down tight and unless its really rough, or I'm going over 5.5mph don't have a problem with the boards sliding down 80lb braid.

Just checked them out. I definitely don't want the front clip to release because it will all the time in rough water. Speed is key when setting lines on LSC with floating grass and taking the board out need to happen in a couple seconds. That clip seems nice for some applications but IMHO not Muskies.
