Subject: Reel Covers

Gang,

I'm looking to buy reel covers for a Shimano TranX 400 and Daiwa Luna 300 baitcasting reels. I have never used reel covers before and am wanting to cover/protect my reels when I transport my rods/reels in my truck and boat.

What does everyone suggest for reel covers? I've seen the Jaws ones online and also some standard neoprene ones. The Jaws ones look to be the most pricey.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Bass pro shops round reel covers for both. $5 and they last a long time. I’ve got over 75 reels and they all stay in these covers. 500 Tranx and trolling reels need bigger covers.

Wrap the line around the reel seat so the reel covers don’t get cut by the braided line if they are mounted on rods.
