Some new nets on the market the past few years. What are people using and liking these days? Looking for something that is lighter and doesn't have so much drag in the water when reaching/scooping a fish.

Appreciate feedback!!!

i would strongly recommend looking into the new RS Nets!!

I have a Frabil Power Stow that i absolutely love, but hated the net bag! i contacted RS about a month ago and was able to purchase the net bag only! Not an option on the website, but you can call them and order it... $65 for 2nd largest net bag.

It took a minor modifcation (one snip of one piece of netting) and it fits on my net frame beautifully!!!

Haven't used it yet, but i can already tell, best $65 i've spent in a long time! Absolutely love the combination of size, material, weight... will be major upgrade...

here is a photo of the RS Net bag on the Frabil

The Drifter XL is a great net. Not the lightest, but a good compromise between strength and weight. The XXL is a heck of a nice net too, but not exactly light and nimble. I also have a Ranger net and like it too.

Drifter XL is the best Net I have used. Pretty light weight and the wide end makes it really easy to net big fish.

Clam. Good nets, good price at $110 retail. Tough and they work. I'm using the Fortis Pike & Catfish in the 1625. Still use a Frabill in the big ride with Keith.
