| I really need a tailgunner for my boat. Am going to fish a triple header tommorrow, falling temps, massive high pressure system and falling water levels. This is just about a no fish guarantee. It would help to have a second rod running, as there may be a small crankbait or sinking jerkbait response, and a pattern might even be found before the night is over. All it takes is faith and stupidity. |

| Thats a very considerate offer Sworrall, and in honor of that offer I am not even going to make you throw the purple cube when we fish together. Once again and I was faced with a "faith based" decision, and a triple header. Falling water, dropping temps and a SATURDAY!
The two counters to this were a high pressure system moving into the high pressure system already here, and some breezes and clouds in the forcast. My faith and stupidity overcame my good sense once again, and I made a late start, with a day which would end up 4 hours driving for 4 hours fishing. Faith was rewarded this trip and stupidity contributed by failing to connect the dots on all the other high pressure low result trips this fall. I was the big dawg at the parking lot with my multiple legal catches.
And when one of the fish ran toward my boat I said "OK Goose, I'm gonna take him down the left side."... [:bigsmile:] |
