Location: Right behind you (tap, tap) BOOO | I've been wanting to build my own bucktails and have been doing some research. It all seems pretty straight forward except for bending straight wire, to make the loops that you tie the line to. Are there special tools that you guys use? Matt |

There is a tool that can be used to make the bends in the wire. All I do is take a vicegrip, a nail bent into a double L. (bend the top half of the nail and the bottom half of the nail to look like 2 l's joined at the middle) sorry if this makes no sence. Anyway, then I take the wire and wrap it around the nail. That forms the loop, then you wrap the wire over itself 2-4 times. When wrapped, twist the vice grip back and forth. This will break off the excess wire.
Hope this makes sence. It is kind of hard to describe by typing. It is much easier to do than it sounds.
