Need to find a good place to take the family for a winter vacation. Do any of you guys know of a good reasonable place to go in south florida where a guy could get some fishing in?

Any major city on the coast would be fine. I have family in Florida and have taken party boats, using my own muskie tackle, out of Fort Meyers, Jacksonville, and Clearwater. All were quite enjoyable, and productive.
I don't get seasick ever, but I have seen it regularily. Take precautions
if you are not sure to keep the outing enjoyable! Half day trips are about $40, with all your catch cleaned for you.
The catch is any of a number of types of fish from 30# down to 1# size. Most all of which are very good table fare!
It has made my visits to Florida very, very enjoyable.

I went to  Mercabo a few times in Florida (Mercury Marine owned it) south of Fort Meyers. The fishing was fantastic, and resorts, hotels, and condos were plentiful at a reasonable price.
