Location: Milwaukee, WI | Does anyone put their trailer on blocks to provide relief for the tires during the winter months (4 months)? Is it necessary to do so? Why? |

Location: Athens, Ohio | Keeps flat spots from developing on the tires and may help stave off dry rot. I've heard it may increase noise from the springs. Folks who leave them outdoors will also cover them to reduce UV exposure. 'Bout all I know. m

| I have never placed the trailer on blocks during the winter storage. So far no issues in the spring the next year |

Location: NE Ohio | i always put mine on jackstands for the entire winter and rotate the tires every spring before putting it back down on the floor. i support the trailer right under the axle under the spring. has worked good for me for many years......

I used to block the axle remove the tires back when I had bias ply tires. Bias ply tires were very prone to flat spots whereas radial tires not so much. Once Radial, I just made sure they were out of the sunlight (covered) to help dry rot and rotate each year.

| With radials I've never had a problem with flat spots over winter. The old bias ones ya.My boat is stored under cover with the tires on the floor. I do nothing special other than rotating them any more and have had no problems in the Spring.
