| Only fished a handful of times these last 2 years. Dealing with service related injuries. Anyways how long is braid (I use Sufix 360) good for? Does good braid eventually develop memory like mono or floro?

| I fish a few times a year and am still on the same stuff from 2016. Replace it if it frays otherwise youre good to go. I flipped mine on the spool once the color wore out. Like brand new since ive got 150 yds on there and never touched the 2nd half. |

Location: Harrisburg, PA | I have braid on a reel that I don’t use very often that was put on in 1987. Since I haven’t worn it out it is fine.
I have other reels that are used a couple of times a week. The braid on those gets reversed after a few years and then replaced after a few more. |

| I flip mine when it starts to get fuzzy, and toss it when the other end starts getting fuzzy too. As far as I know, braid lasts until you wear it out from fishing. |

| Reassuring. I figured it would still be good with only having been used 10 - 12 times in the last 2 years. My concern was that it would develop that memory like mono used to. BTW over the years I've noticed that sufix 360 and or power pro don't fray nearly as much as Fireline or Spider-line.
Nothing memorable this year, I caught a 34" that was a hog must have approached 15 pounds. Sometimes length doesn't always tell the whole story my buddy got one at 39" that was outweighed by the 33". I haven't weighed enough fish decades ago bto have a feel for est weight. The forums reports of 50"+ fish always amaze me, we've only ever caught one.
