So with winter coming in a few months let’s start the party early. With the recent filmed 53.25” leech lake strain coming out of Madison, why don’t state dnr’s (including Iowa) start stocking the superior strain more often? These fish grow 54” plus everywhere they get put from prairie pot hole lakes to deep Cisco lakes .. Maybe even the Chippewa flowage could pump out 50 pounders in 15 years.
