Does anyone have any experience with these baits or know of any useful modifications?

Thanks, Joe

I've got one. Some run time - no muskies on it.

I don't know if they still are built like this, but on mine the two screws holding the blade and spreader in are too small. Over time they loosen and repeatedly tightening makes it worse. I think stock they are #6 x .5" I replaced them with #8 x 1.5" - big suckers that go almost through the bait. Not 100% sure on exact size - main thing was one size up diameter and as long as would fit in the bait. Haven't had any problems since.

If you don't replace those screws, I would keep a very close eye on the stock ones. You'd hate to hook into a fish and have the spreader bar tear off.

That's a great tip. Has anyone experimented with blade changes for more sound?
