Anyone up for a trip the Wed & Thurs prior to the Chicago Muskie show???

Cady - You will have to had very far south if you want to fish around here in a couple weeks the way things are going.  The local lakes are starting to lockup around the the shorelines and ramps/harbors.  Shelbyville may remain mostly open by the time you get here but those long steep ramps will be well covered in ice.  I've received several reports that Kinkaid fish are cooperating but that's a good 6 hours from the show.
