Location: Illinois | I have a Revo NACL and a Tranx 400A that I’m having issues with. When I tighten the drag, it will gradually start to loosen up. I’m hoping this is an issue I can fix by myself...any insight would be appreciated!
Thanks! |

| are you saying your star loosens over time from being bumped? simply just monitor it.
or are you saying that its snug and good when you first set it, but then the drag plates slip over time when the star stays put? ive had drags slip after reel greasing/oiling if i wasnt careful and the carbon disks got lubed up. taking them out and drying them off real good fixed it |

Location: Illinois | I have mono backing. Like you said Jaximus, it’s snug and then it loosens up. If I was to lock it down and then try to pull line out manually, it would be hard at first and then get increasingly easier. |

Location: 31 | Super doubtful it's a problem with both reels and most likely oil on drag washers as previously mentioned. *Maybe* you are accidentally bumping it down while casting/reeling, that's easy enough to check by just marking where your star drag is set.

easy fix, take out the drag washers and disks. dry them off real good removing any dust or oil. make sure you take a picture of the order they were in and reinstall. |
