Saw This in my local paper

Oh, deer: When is a deer stand a deer stand and not a condo?

A Wisconsin judge handed a ruling that an owner of a deer stand must tear down the structure or face heavy fines.

The Cloann Proulx family bought a beautiful piece of property in western Wisconsin some time ago. The family's son built a deer stand on the family property back in the woods.

Someone didn't like the fact the son was living in the stand and blew the whistle. County officials deemed the structure to be some kind of human abode and not a deer stand. Is the next step the issuance of a building permit?

Well, looks like I might eventually have to move west after all. Who CARES what is happening in a deer stand out in the woods, deer season or not? The judge needs to relax some.

no kidding. how about just an elaborate tree fort? We used to build them with windows, door, wall to wall carpet, heat (yes, fire), electricity, etc. I guess those were the good ole' days huh?
