Posts: 58 | You get one bucktail, 1 crankbait, and 1 rubber. What colors are you picking for each?

Posts: 58 | Everyone saying walleye is interesting. I thought people have been saying musky don’t eat walleye- I would have leaned toward sunfish or crappie type patterns. And no black/black for bucktail yet!?

I thought people have been saying musky don’t eat walleye- I would have leaned toward sunfish or crappie type patterns. And no black/black for bucktail yet!? Muskies eat walleyes, but not that often. This just goes to show that color does not matter that much. It's just a nice natural pattern and whatever bait you are throwing should resemble a wounded baitfish or one trying to escape, which makes the fish want to eat it regardless of color. Color does not matter that much.

Posts: 59 | If I could choose only one color of each it would be: Bucktail with a black body and nickle blade crankbait in a natural perch pattern Rubber with a black body with orange tail. I really just try to have contrasting colors on the bait. If the water is clear (15+ feet) then ill start throwing exclusively natural baitfish patterns. What everyone else is saying about colors is true, it doesn't matter much in the majority of situations. An active fish will chase just about anything down as long as the size and profile of the bait is right.

Posts: 1429 Location: Brighton CO. | If you're going to make me choose here it goes. Bucktail or Spinnerbait (I fish with both but I really love the bend arm spinnerbait) Gold blade white body Crank perch with orange belly. plastic Lemmon tail. Top Water whatever sound is working on any given day.
