| i live on a river in canada and slow troll a 14 inch jointed bait in the very late fall just bellow the surface. its a large profile bait that moves alot of water at slow speed. i also troll the same way in the summer when i'm lazy and want to go home slowly at night. the summer time musky tend to explode on the bait missing it most of the time. but great scout bait application just for being old and lazy.

Location: oswego, il | It depends on where you want to fish it and what time of the year. I've caught my longest on a crane 104. That's a 4" bait. I have put big fish in the boat on 10.and 8" jakes, .9" grandmas and shallow raiders. |

| I troll 12-16' baits in late fall around whitefish schools when I get tired of throwing pounders. Good size for late fall. |
