Posts: 218 | It started last week when I got an email from the State of Nebraska advising they would be suspending sales of nonresident hunting licenses for the spring turkey season. Now I see Kentucky and Idaho are suspending nonresident hunting and fishing license sales and I expect more states will follow. It appears a large number of the out of work outdoors types are traveling hundreds of miles to fish. I know it's really upsetting the MN Game Wardens. I have a friend that lives close to Fox River - Green Bay and he says it has never been so crowded with many boats holding multiple anglers. Fish local - have fun -stay safe

Fish local - have fun -stay safe My daughter sent me a photo she took from the passenger seat while crossing the Fox in the Green Bay area yesterday. Boats everywhere with 2-3 people in them. It was a cell phone photo from a moving vehicle but had to be close to a hundred boats in the frame. Wonder if everyone is practicing social distancing at the landings? Must be a zoo.

Posts: 1794 | Well, states give people the option of staying at home cooped up with their wives or the possibility of catching a virus that could kill them by fishing. Seems for many it's a simple choice.

Posts: 1287 Location: Stevens Point, Wi. | The city of Oconto closed their landings this weekend due to overcrowding. Hope this doesn't become a statewide trend.

Posts: 20263 Location: oswego, il | ...and the reason why this virus is going away later rather than sooner stay home except for work or food. I was called out for work Friday and I seen gas stations yes many I would have had to wait in line to get to a pump. A line to get your car detailed! We can't make one simple sacrifice. Posts: 421 Location: SW Ohio | Kentucky hasn't suspended non-resident fishing licenses just the spring turkey hunt. I just purchased my KY NR fishing license this morning.
