Posts: 492 Location: Lindenhurst, Illinois | As I never seem to learn my lesson, I am heading out to Le Bowl on Sunday, anybody going to hit it? Here are some excerpts from my trip last weekend (at least this time I didn't fall in the water). - All compartments on boat were frozen shut - Boat was frozen to Trailer - After chipping ice to open my rod locker realized I left my sucker rods at home - Tried to start my boat but the battery was dead - Rich Gallagher Jump Starts me - realize that I have no sinkers for my newly created sucker rod - Get to first spot, trolling motor is frozen to bracket and won't deploy - Get trolling motor deployed and foot pedal is frozen solid and won't work - Finally 2 hours after getting to landing make first cast - 4 hours later and frozen hands no fish caught no fish sighted. I love fishing the Bowl!!!!!!!!

Posts: 169 Location: Elgin ,IL | Davey, First I must make clear I did jump you, but I used my jumper cables! I will be on the bowl on Sunday, my Saturday charter crapped out on me. So Saturday I'll be on my roof hanging my X-Mas lights and Sunday I'll be on Channel & Catherine dragging the meat! Here's a photo of a 34"er we got on the meat late in the afternoon on Sunday. Posts: 642 Location: mount prospect illinois | Someone hates me!!!! I just got a good cold, my twin boys both have ear infections and the antibiotics are giving them killer diarhea, and i have a butt load of house work to do that i couldnt do today (sat, due to the aforementioned issues). I wish Dave, Goomba and anyone else who is able to get out on Sunday 11/16 a great trip. May all of you boat a pig. This looks like it for the year for me. I cant see when i will be able to get out again. Man what a strange/awesome/frustrating year!!! Make sure to post any reports guys!!!
