| Hey guys,
Just a quick tip on helping out you and your fellow late season anglers. When you are launching/loading your boat, it helps to stop your rig just as it clears the water to let the water from the trailer/boat drain off into the water. Keeps the launch from icing up all the way up. Also, be sure to carry salt and sand to help with traction on those ramps that are iced up. |

The launch this weekend was iced up real bad after we all launched before the tournament. A bucket of sand would have helped the guys that were trying to take the boats out for the year on Saturday. They were steamed at all the ice from 18 rigs launching and parking.
Salt and sand is a great idea. Some guys had some trouble even with smaller 4 wheel drives. |

Location: Presque Isle Wisconsin | Even if the ground around the launch area is frozen you can still take sand from the lake bottom right at most launches as long as you bring a shovel.I shovel some on before launching to let it dry and more right when Im taking out.always Seems to work quite well. |
