Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota | Anyone tried this new high end rod from shimano? I’m a huge fan of shimanos bass rods and if they can get that same crisp feeling into a musky rod I’ll be all over it, been wanting them to make a musky version of the expride forever |

| I'm curious as to why they ended up going with a 2-piece ($400 too) when they previously had a solid lineup of telescopic compres a few years back. From all I can gather, 2-piece rods really haven't taken off in the muskie world despite several companies trying to offer them. |

| I played with Prototypes a bit before production and also have used production models briefly. I was impressed with all of them. |
