Whats the best/proper way to 8 a glider?
Seems that when I swing em into the boat it always is tough to get a natural turn into an 8 with em.

I glide tha bait past the front of the boat, let it stop, and then reverse it past the front the other direction. Kind of a figure 0, but have caught several this year that way. It is tough to do from the center of the boat, but easy from front or back.

I treat jerkbaits as bucktail when I get them boatside. I have tried everything on my time on the water and found taking them from the side to side to just a simple staight retreive around the corners works best. Muskies seem to loose tract real fast if you try to get fancy and work a jerkbait side to side action around the corners of a figure eight.

I have caught several muskies doing that, so its the way I do it now.

Just my 2 cents worth.
