Looking into getting a telescopic rod, and I keep hearing a lot about the Okuma Telescopic rods and how good they are for the price. I have also read to do the XH on these rods if you're looking to throw a variety of baits with it. The real question is do I go with the 8'6 or the 9'3? I am 5'7 if that makes a difference. I also currently have an 8 foot rod. Just looking for a longer one for longer casts, and a better figure 8.

I have both lengths of the Okuma XH and I'd go with the 9'3" for sure over the 8'6".
