My first grandchild was born and I would like to make her a mobile of musky baits. Which ones are lead free, even though I don't think it matters because I grew up in the 1970s and I think Im okay.

Did you ingest any lead when you were growing up? If not you are ok ??

I'd be more concerned that they are 'hook-free'.
Few baits would have exposed lead - likely on bucktails less likely on sealed cranks and jerks.
Unless the kid will chew on them I'd not be concerned. m

Are you sure you are ok? Quite often victims are the last to know.

I agree with Mike. Hook free would be a lot more important.

My oldest son had a seizure when he was 5. He was and is fine. That prompts an immediate call to DCFS after his blood level had shown a high amount of lead. We had recent purchased an old farm house. DCFS tested it and we had 30 days to replace all the windows and the side entrance doorway. There wasn't peeling paint or anything like that and he never had another seizure. Probably rare I would look into it and also make sure that the baits and mobile do not present any sort of choking hazard or can come apart.

you only have to worry if you live in California. Every thing there may cause cancer.

Why's that? Did I miss the message that Trump said it was fake news?
