I fish a clear lake. I was catching fish on surface lures until a week ago. Now that the turnover has taken place, what lures, should I throw? I don't troll. Do rattling lures help? If, I jig plastics or minnows, how deep? Any other suggestions would be appreciated as I'm running out of time on another season!

If the lake is still turning or settling from the turn look for the fish shallow with twitch bait’s like the 7” Straight Shallow Raider and the 10” Jake. Twitch the heck out of them, but be sure to give them a good pause.

As the temps drop below 50 and the lake settles I would start working deep running glide baits and the Triple D. Work them slow and low. If the big baits aren’t working try a Jointed Baby Depth Raider. Work with a pull pause technique.

Good luck!
