Been there, never done any good, but then again I hate casting from shore, and wont rent one of their "boats" for $40, and the concession stand is probably closed anyways.
Probably a better bet to head up to Silver or hit the chain. If you are boatless, I am penniless, for the cost of suckers and coffee I could be convinced to "guide" you (thats a joke) and a partner on Silver.

I'm pretty sure at this time of year the only option is to shore fish.

The concession that rents boats would mostl likely be closed for th eyear so your only option is shore casting. I have had luck out there in a boat before with lures as well as suckers. Nothing big but it is an alternative.
