have had trouble hookin up with this bait wondering if any body has tried to move rear hook back towards tail wonder if couple split rings and pining the hook in tail

Very common, if you talk to enough guys you will hear others have trouble keeping them pinned on this bait. Some guys use wire from the front split ring and put the second hook further back. There’s pictorials out there somewhere on how to do it

Extend the rear hook with a piece of wire. problem solved.

if in original setup ,it's pure trash. if modified it is really good
