Posts: 200 Location: Milwaukee, WI | What is the difference besides the year? I’m assuming? I know both are chirp which is better than my current helix 10 si g1. Looking at either a helix 12 g3 mega si or a solix 10 g2 mega si.

They will share waypoints between one another, if networking SOLIX to HELIX. But, a network with SOLIX to HELIX will not share transducer views like a network with HELIX to HELIX or SOLIX to SOLIX units will. Usually best to network models of the same family anyway, since the user interfaces are slightly different, due to SOLIX being touchscreen and HELIX being softkey operation.
