Hi,
I run a 17’ console boat with both raised casting decks. I don’t like too much to troll with this rig in small waters like rivers, ponds and small lakes where I have ever troll with a 14 feet aluminum boat with a 10hp tiller, a great tool for this job. I have find not too easy to make quick turns and other operations with console boat, but I still need a big boat for my guiding customers and reasonable speed. Ok, small waters don’t need speed but long river ask long run to reach fishing spots. The ideal thing could be a 10 or 15 HP tiller kicker with extension handle but what about to use this tool from casting decks? Someone have tried it? Left turns still be easy?
Thank You
Luca

Sure, running a kicker from a rear deck is easy. An extension handle for the throttle will do the trick. Turns right and left are easy, too.
