I ran my new to me 2001 Tuffy Esox Mag with a 2001 Mercury 2S 60 HP for the first time yesterday, by myself but with full fuel and all equipment minus rods and reels. The previous and original owner of 18 years used it to fish and pull kids on tubes so he had a Mercury Vengence SST prop only 11" pitch mounted right down on the transom. The boat ran 32 MPH GPS at 5,500 (recommended top RPM's) but I could easily over rev to 6,500 or perhaps even higher. Obviously it jumped onto plane like a shot.

For those that either ran this combo previously, or still have it today, what prop are you running?
