Much like Chuck''s report for Wisc. most fish are not shallow they are suspending over deep water. Relating to any underwater structure and baitfish! Try Topwater! Yes I know it''s weird but try it you might get a big suprise. Fished Alexander (near Brainerd) this weekend and only scored one 31" on a Bucktail after dark... Fish very scarce as well in the northern region. Have heard of some success on Mille Lacs. I hope to try it myself later in the week.
