Location: Hayward WI | Just saw a blurb about these is my new Field and Steam mag. They say it has an improved backlash control mechanism, incorporating the mechinical and magnetic spool brakes in one knob. Cost around $100. Anyone seen or used one yet? |

| Used one of the prototypes this spring - as close to a hands off baitcaster as you will find, and for the price - smooth. Will try this reel to compare to the Calcutta 400's for less than half the price. |

| Just picked up the C5 with the mag control. I have fished it two days now and so far I like it. I have it on a 6'9StCroix for glide baits. Very smooth. My major concern is how long will it last?? I am about to send my Morrum back for the second time but for under $100 the C5 is a great deal.
