Is there a bait shop nearby Silver Lake (Kenosha Cty.) that sells suckers? I'm heading that way tomorrow morning.

I think it is called Paddock lake sport shop or something to that nature. It is just east of Paddock lake on hwy 50, and it is on the North side of the road. There is a long sloping driveway going up to the brown wood building.

Thats the one I'm thinking of, and for the record, it is EAST of B where you go left to get to the public launch off of Silver.

Thanks guys! We'll see if I'm in the sucker mood tomorrow and make the decision to drive by the launch and out of my way to get them.

The bait shop in paddock lake does carry suckers but at least in the past, they have been frequently out of them as well. You have to be there when they open. I always get mine at triangle sports on rt 83 and grass lake rd, not far from silver. They have an unlimited supply that lasts them into spring.

Yes, the place's name is Paddock Lake Sporting Goods and the phone number is 1-262-843-1625, just don't fish Silver in November too cold (just kidding). Al

I hit Silver today (Friday) for about 4 1/2 hours. Raised 5 on glide baits (Jerko) caught one frickin pike! and nothing on meat. All follows were slow and lazy one time Charlies. I did have one become hipmotized by my sucker but it just sat there and then sunk out of site. Water temps were around 54 in the "basin" area and 52 in the shallows (i was crusing to see if any were hanging out shallow. Good luck tomorrow.

Talked to Randy at Paddock Lake Sporting Goods about a week ago and he said that they will be bumping up the quanity of suckers that they will be getting for the weekends because he said suckers have been selling really good. As the previous post stated the store is on the east side of Paddock Lake on Hwy 50. Good luck all this weekend, I will be out there Sunday so if you see a blue Ranger say hi.

Spent about 2.5 hours on Silver this morning. Surface temps were a shade over 51 degrees. Didn't move one fish. Boat control was tough due to the strong winds.

Silver can get rough when the winds are good from the South or Southwest. I figured it would be a bit testy today.

Dave, you forgot west too. No forgiveness in the wind on that lake. Your better off drifting bulldawgs in the basin. Wave action will jig them niceley for you.
