I have lure retrievers that are the snap on the line type. It weighs over 2 lbs. and comes with 2, 6" machine twist chains and a 5/0 salt water hook.
It comes complete with 40' of 1/8" rope on a floating marker buoy. $35 including shipping to the lower 48. []

Been using this retreiver for nearly a year and it's ALWAYS worked, even in standing timber and rocks---MUCH easier to use, store, and manage than the larger collapsible pole type models...THIS IS GREAT! It paid for itself on the second trip to the water--now, I keep my favorite baits rather than leaving them on the bottom of the lake. I'D HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!! WELL WORTH THE PRICE (and still less than many 'premium' & irreplacable baits!)

I too have one of Jerry's retreivers and it did pay for itself the first time I used it. I like the fact that it is heavy and gets to the lure down deep and even in current. I actualy just lost my first lure on the year last Monday just after catching my second fish of the day I was trolling in 15 ft of water when all of the sudden I was in 7 and after many passes and fighting current I ended up getting my line caught in the transducer and that caused me to lose my lure but I did get the retriever hooked up twice but for some reason I could not pull my lure off bottom, it must of been a car of something. LOL I am sure if I had someone else in the boat to help I would of goten my lure back no problem.

Thumbs up Jerry on a great tool.[:sun:]
