I have a new to me 2014 Ranger boat with a single axle Ranger trailer. I was expecting to see a cool hub type when I took the dust cover off the wheel, but it looks like a different hub style, there is no sight glass or oil drain plug in the hub. Looking for help on what type of hub maintenance I might need to do on this style. Thanks.

As far as I know, there is no maint. My center hub cracked and leaked oil all over my rim/tire... 2018 trailer... ranger sent me a new hub and said just take the old one off, fill it with oil and slap it back on with a rubber mallet... supposedly maint free...

Is it leaking? If not, no maintenance required. Looks like vault/vortex style hub with the hybrid grease in there.

No leaks, the rear seal is dry and there's no spotting on the rim. Nice concept if it doesn't leak, I'll keep an eye out for leaks. Taking the wheels off also gave me a chance to put some anti-corrosion spray on the wheel studs before I put the lug nuts back on. Thanks for the replies.

When / if it starts to fail you will get a milky color in there.
