I've been currently using the Plano Weekend Series 3700 tackle bag. It fits four 3700 sized boxes with a front pouch that I used for tools and a spare reel and two side pockets that I use for my sucker rigs and a few more rubber baits. Well, I've began outgrowing this bag and am looking to upgrade to something that could fit a few more 3700 boxes. I've been looking at the Cabela's Advanced Angler II Magnum bag and the Lakewood Boxes. I've never used Lakewood before so not sure how I'd like the hanging storage as I do like having the boxes, but I'm not totally opposed to it. Do you guys have any good recommendations? Thanks!

Just Encase... don't look back. You can get a box that will hang baits and accept Plano's.

if you still want to use Plano boxes to keep everything separate look at there 5 Pac Magnum boxes. These boxes are great if you want to jump from boat to boat or if you want to switch up your tackle for every trip.

Do you think there is enough room in the side pockets of the 5 Pac Magnum for a spare reel?

If you like the Plano boxes try to find a used soft side carry on piece of luggage or duffel bag on eBay. I get six or seven boxes in the main compartment and several smaller ones in the side ones. Mine will carry a spare reel with no problem. I paid $25.00 for it.

I use these for hanging lures and likely won't use anything else. m
