Yeah but if she takes your offer she ends up with 51% of your tackle

I used to collect lures, of which many I never used, and then when I got to over 600 I decided it was time to go the other way.

I am currently @ 145 of which I think 70 are bucktails. I am hoping to cull another 10 or so before next season.

I have an un-finished basement, and did some simple hanging chains.

I think somebody already touched on it but the number of lures one has if not in excess can be dictacted by the different types of waters one fishes. A lure set for lotw will be alot different than lsc and if you fish both as well as other places, the more lures you need.

Ever been in a store and your wife says..............."you don't need another fishing lure."

If you have struggled for a reply try this one.............."I didn't NEED a wife either."

Usually it's me telling her she doesn't need another lure. The last time she said anything about me buying gear (which I really don't do much of anymore) I asked her when the last time she bought shoes was and how many pairs she had that have never been out of the box.

"That's different!!"

I said " It IS. THIS will actually see daylight!

Ended THAT conversation in a hurry..

ya'll are so organized. I have boxes and boxes of lures I haven't seen in years or remember I even have. thankfully, I've sold off at least half of what I have but still in the hundreds I guess. I use maybe 10-20 in a season and 3-4 of those most often.

Yeah, I'm struggling with BOTH the daily thoughts and the lure collecting.... It seems that every fall and winter, the cabin fever just gets worse and worse.

I have to admit to filling up the bathtub on more than one occasion and doing figure 8's with bucktails throughout the winter months. (You know, to see how a double cowgirl looks with various colors of Berkley power grubs attached to the rear treble).

Didn't catch any fish today, but managed to snag one rubber ducky.
