When do you lean toward using a double prop topwater as opposed to a single prop, globe, creeper, etc? Any particular seasonal conditions? Heavy waves? Dark/light? Use interchangeably with single props?

What models have you had success with? Not even sure what's all out there - here's a partial list:

- Dirdy B
- Lee Lures Tidal Wave
- Super Topraider (both in back)
- Low Rider (which size?)
- Tyrant Lola (same as Low Rider but plastic?)
- Double Headbanger
- Wades Critter (just saw on MTO)

Rule of thumb for me - the choppier it is, the bigger/louder you want the lure, and vice versa. If wind conditions remain the same after the sun sets, I generally go with a bigger profile. Really, though, you should probably experiment and let the fish reaction tell you what they want.

LOW RIDER is one of the best topwater baits you can use for weedy or especially when there's a lot of junk on the water,,the front blade catches the debris while the back blade still spins so you don't end up with a wasted cast.

For me, I like single And  dbl. headbangers and props like proper toppers, globes, flaptails, in a 2” -12” Chop.  Spring temps 64 and up, especially warming trends several days in a row.......fall, down to about 57, for more aggressive prop baits.

Creeper/ hog wobblers / WTD, in a fairly flat condition, warm and cool water temps, for the most part.

Dusk/ dawn, Clouds, chop, always a plus;) +^
