| Looking at heading out to French River. Any thoughts recommendation to Lower vs. Upper. Possibly also whiling to go to Georgian bay.
Thanks guys, appreciate your thoughts.

| Big fish in both. I prefer the lower as this time of year you'll be chasing the fishing coming in from the bay.
Upper I find a tougher fish with those coming from Nip, more caught trolling a spread around shoals with different baits and finding what works in bigger water.
Lower think river system and current, find the breaks. Jakes and in-line spinners are my go to's.
Ask about hazards when launching to locals who know. Even seasoned vets get dinged up. Last year I was pulling out when JP De Rose came in had his skeg mangled. If you're coming in from distance best to pack an extra prop.

Location: Ontario, Canada | The Upper and Nipeeing are charted, the lower is not.
