Anyone have any suggestions on tuning a dr evil topwater. Mine seems to be rolling more than I remember in the past. I'm probably the culprit, I tend to try to cram as many baits in a box as possible.

Appreciate any help.

bend the prop in or out until you get the desired sound and action. ive had 3 Dr Evils and they would all roll to the side hard no matter what, if i didnt slow down.

The doctors certainly have speed limits to them, I find.

Thanks guys, will do. I had a nice fish up on a fat bastard and returned with the dr evil. I was a bit geeked up.

To remedy the rolling you could try upsizing the front hook, go with a double X wire hook, try a small bell sinker/wrap solder around the existing hook. For bending/adjusting the tail back to stock, try taking it into the store and let them know at the front of your intentions to compare and tweak. Never leave without buying something though.. That wouldn't be good form.
