it make plop like all the others of that style. i didn't see a single reason why a fish would grab one instead of a topraiders .imo all these lures are just almost the same, that's why you don't need a dozen of that

Posts: 49 | I bought fat bastards and never caught a fish sold them all when they were still looking new, bought a LEE XL and have caught 8 fish on it. Same waters... who knows, they sure do seem like they sound similar. Caught one this am on the smaller LEE chopper, first on that bait.

Posts: 343 | Tailspin topwaters can and some do sound the same above water, doesn't necessarily mean they have same vibrations below the surface. I've fished Topraiders with little to no success, but have caught close to 100 muskies and tigers along with some nice pike on Rumblers. Whopper Ploppers sometimes work better than Rumblers, so there must be differences.

it look like you didn't buy enough rumbler to keep that co alive. i think it don't even last 5 years.i have no idea why there was not much love for it .sound was decent but not a single sniff on it

Posts: 343 | I own at least a dozen Rumblers, their biggest problem is they are hard to rebuild and get them to work right. I generally buy any I run across, bought 3 new ones at the last Minnesota Muskie Expo I was able to attend back in 2015 before I got my cancer diagnosis. At that show I was told they were purchased by a company that was going to improve the durability of them and eventually re-release them after they improved some of the other lures their company purchased from other lure companies they had recently purchased. Unfortunately I am unable to remember the name of that company, and still haven't heard of them being re-released. If they do I'll line up to buy some more.
