Location: Forest Lake, Mn

Does anyone that frequents the board have any tips for White Bear Lake? I was out a couple times a week ago and spent the better part of a day both times, and not a single follow. The lake is about the clearest of any that I have been on in some time. Around Mantitou island the weeds made my mouth water they looked so good.

I'm not looking spots, more interested in techniques. On lakes as clear as WB is night fishing a better method? I used my old Suick and a couple of offerings from MuskyFrenzy the most. I usually can shake something loose, it started making me second guess myself.

Thanks for any tips or sharing of experiences.
