Congrats to all those who caught fish.

I wasn't in town yesterday. Did lightning chase people off the water for extended periods of time?

This is the worst result in this tourney since 2004 based on numbers and size of fish caught. Based on the recent metro tourney results along with my own personal experiences the metro fishery is experiencing a noticeable downturn. I an not sure what the answer is but increased stocking wouldn't hurt.

The big storm later in the morning pushed alot of guys off White Bear. My dads hair was standing on end from the static in the air and the rods were buzzing round 11am. So that was a big factor I would think.

Lots of guys were getting pushed around by storms, and I bet a lot of them threw in the towel early. Fished Forest on the NE end of town and we managed to only have light rain for a couple hours, the storms fell apart as they ran across the Metro. Lots of boats and only 2 fish boated from there. I think the weather had them shut down. We found fish and had a couple close opportunities. There has been a couple years with very tough weather for this tournament that's for sure.
