Location: Lake St Clair | Like the terrova remote thread but my story is different
I turn the remote on and it lights up for a few seconds then turns off, new battery and even checked the contact points. When it does power up it looks like the default boot up screen, all icons are showing then bam..... dead.
What do y'all think? Searched online but cant find this specific problem

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | Sounds like it is not connected to the motor to me. Go through the connection sequence and see if that helps |

how about this question, itll sound dumb but i sold my boat with an awesome Xi5 on it and im not used to minn kota yet, when i deploy the unit how can i tell if power is going to the motor? i only have the remote, no pedal |

Make sure the trolling motor is locking into place or it wont connect... I Use mine all the time the motor should have green light u see once it has power and is deployed |
