My dad also had an Appleby flat back canoe. Indeed, it is a simple but good model. I remember from my childhood our floatings and river descents on it. It was really amazing. Dad misses his walks on the water very much and often revises photos from floating. His old canoe completely leaky, and we decided to order him a new one. I found some valuable offers and reviews on outdoorlifecafe.com , but I think that finally, we must consult with him. This is still the kind of thing that a person must choose for himself.
