I am looking to pick up a new reel. I am stuck between 2 options and would like to hear what you'all think before I pull the trigger.
Calcutta 400D or a Traxx 400AHG

| I have a calcutta D, really happy with it, its smooth and bullet proof.
I have also read very positive things about the 400 tranx
If i was you, i would go to a store and see what reel fits best in your hands, and base my choice on that, you cant go wrong with eighter

Location: St. Lawrence River | Drastic difference in look and feel. Do you prefer a round reel or low profile reel? I myself think I would choose the Tranx. They are both built great. I prefer thr feel of a low pro reel. |

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | what are you planning on using it for? What bait styles? I prefer the tranx 400's to the calcutta D's, but the 400A may be better for you than the 400AHG based on what you are using it for. |
