| Does anyone here know if the Mustad brand is as strong as the Stringease brand stay lok snaps? I remember hearing that Mustad snaps were at one time believed to be weaker than the Stringease snaps. Is this still the case or has Mustad corrected the problem? |

| I didn't know you could still get mustand stay lock snaps. Thought stringease took them back over. Not sure though. Stringease are better but still change them out often if casting and more often if trolling. |

| I bought some Mustad stay lok snaps from Thorne Bros last year just to have as replacements but haven't given them much use yet. I think that was the only brand of stay lok snaps they had for sale there at the time. |

Location: NE Ohio | i always buy mine from stealth tackle at the shows. john always gives me the skinny on the sta-lock snap situation. last year he said mustad was out and stringease in. so just give him a call and i'm sure he'll set ya straight and sell you the best he's got. |
