I'm heading up to Eagle lake next week for my first time.

Anyone have current water temps and/or a report of how things are going?

If you have it, check the Andy Myers Lodge and North Shore Lodge Facebook pages. I'm guessing it's going to be mainly bucktails with topwater, cranks, and rubber thrown in as well. Rocks and weeds will both hold fish so check both cover options everyday and multiple times each day.

Thanks for the information. I don't do the Facebook thing, but I will see if I can get that from a friend.

Just got back from Eagle on Saturday. Not sure if you are already up there or not. Water temps dropped last week from mid 60s to low 60s (even 59). Fish seemed to be turned on to glide baits (Hellhound) and twitch baits (Grandma/Double D/Shallow Raider) in natural colors. Most fish were taken from weeds in 6-10 feet of water. There are still some green weeds out there, so if you find them, be sure to check em out. Caught 5 (34, 35, 37, 40 and 42).
