Posts: 735 Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't | I feel like that chatter spoon is going to be nuts! That (if it works) might be the most erratic bait ever created.

The smaller ones absolutely crush pike & bass. Been trying a few big ones with different weighting & placement lately

Location: North Metro, MN | Looks good! I tend to have a shrink wrap habit too for some reason. They have a lot of wiggle but the shrink wrap shouldn't hinder the action. The small ones I tried had no shrink wrap & seemed to hook everything. Big one with shrink wrap missed a couple really good ones but maybe it's because pike & bass don't get off...just the big muskies seem to get away haha. Only one way to find out!

Posts: 20229 Location: oswego, il | I had a chance to test them last weekend. They all worked perfect. The black one had alot of skirt movement. The bucktail blade spun as if it didn't have the chatter blade on it. Only change i would make, do not use painted components. Spins great but does make alot of contact and removes the paint. Spoon works perfect and so does the squid. Only difference i would make to the squid is no shrink wrap. It would move alot more than it does. I tested them with my buddy's tranx hg. They bulged really well on a fast retrieve. Weight being relative i could go up or down on weight. I trolled them too and they worked that way.

Location: North Metro, MN | Did they catch anything though!? Just a matter of time if they didn't then! Wonder why the one I made with a French blade below didn't spin..weird!

Wonder why the one I made with a French blade below didn't spin..weird! I trolled them some on lsc, then casted them at the dock when i fishing partner had an intestinal emergency. It was slow so it was not a good comparison.
